Remove steak and add mushrooms and garlic to the pan.
Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and brandy.
Cook until sauce is reduced.
Serve steak with the sauce.

Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and add the steak. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side, then remove from the pan and keep warm.
In the same pan, add the mushrooms and garlic. Cook until the mushrooms are browned and the garlic is fragrant.
Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and brandy to the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce is reduced by half.
Return the steak to the pan and spoon the sauce over the steak. Cook for a further 2 minutes, then serve.
