A creamy, delicious clam chowder soup, made with potatoes, onions, celery, and of course, clams. Perfect for a cozy dinner or lunch on a cold day.
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and celery and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
Add the potatoes and stir to combine. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
Add the clams and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, salt, pepper, and flour. Slowly add the mixture to the pot, stirring constantly.
Cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the soup is thickened and creamy.
