Cut the fish fillet into cubes or strips. If you are using frozen fish, make sure it is thawed before cutting.
In a shallow bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir until the spices are evenly distributed.
Dip each piece of fish into the flour mixture and coat it evenly.
