Start by chopping the onion, bell pepper, garlic, chicken, and sausage.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and saute until softened.
Add the chicken and sausage to the pan, along with the paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the meat is well browned.
Add the uncooked rice, chicken broth, and diced tomatoes to the pan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cover the pan. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through.
