Add the chopped onions and minced garlic and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the diced tomatoes, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground ginger, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and chili powder. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
Stir in the vegetable broth, chopped carrots, chopped potatoes, frozen green peas, chopped bell pepper, chopped celery, chopped zucchini, chopped mushrooms, and cooked chickpeas. Bring to a boil.
