Bring to boil and let boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.
Pour over popcorn and stir until popcorn is coated.
Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 250°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pop your popcorn according to the package instructions and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Melt these ingredients together over medium heat.
Once the butter is melted and the sugar is dissolved, increase the heat to bring the mixture to a boil. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
