Place the ribs in a smoker and cook for 4 hours at 225°F
Brush with barbecue sauce and cook for an additional 15 minutes

In a large bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until all the spices are combined.
Place the pork ribs in the bowl and coat with the spice mixture. Make sure each rib is evenly coated.
Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Once the ribs have marinated, place them in a smoker and cook for 4 hours at 225°F.
Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
