 Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
 In a separate bowl, cream together the white sugar, brown sugar and melted butter.
 Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
 Gently fold in the chopped apples.
 Spread evenly in a greased 9x13 inch pan.

                    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
 In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix together until well blended.
 In a separate bowl, cream together the white sugar, brown sugar and melted butter. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
 Gently fold in the chopped apples. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
 Bake for 50 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
