Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, oil, salt and lemon juice for about 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and sauté until they are golden brown.
Add the marinated chicken and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the rice and 3 cups of water. Cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Take 2 lbs of chicken in a bowl.
Add 2 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste, 2 tbsp of cumin powder, 2 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of garam masala, 2 tbsp of oil, 2 tbsp of salt and 2 tbsp of lemon juice to the chicken.
Mix all the ingredients well and let the chicken marinate for about 20 minutes.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
Add 1 cup of chopped onions to the pan and sauté until the onions are golden brown.
Add the marinated chicken to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup of chopped tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add 2 cups of basmati rice to the pan and mix well.
Add 3 cups of water to the pan and mix well.
Cover the pan and let the chicken and rice cook for 20 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
