In a bowl, mix together the curry powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and sugar.
Add the marinade to the fish cubes and mix well.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry until they start to crackle.
Add the marinated fish and fry for a few minutes.
Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
