Pljeskavica is a traditional Montenegrin dish made from a mixture of ground beef, onions, and spices. The beef is usually mixed with salt, pepper, garlic, and other spices, formed into a patty, and then grilled over a charcoal fire. It is usually served with a side of fries, salad, and ajvar (a type of red pepper spread).
Combine ground beef with all the spices and onion in a bowl and mix well.
Form the mixture into patties and set aside.
Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
Fry the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Add the lemon juice to the pan and cook for 1 minute more.
Serve with fries, salad, and ajvar.
