This Ethiopian Spicy Stew is a flavourful and hearty dish that will warm your soul. It is made with a variety of spices, vegetables, and meat to create a unique and delicious dish. The stew is cooked slowly over low heat to allow the flavours to really develop and meld together.
Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add onion, ginger, and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in berbere spice mix, cumin, coriander, cardamom, cloves, and nutmeg and cook for 1 minute.
Add tomato paste and vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Add beef, carrots, potatoes, and green beans and reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Stir in parsley, cilantro, and lemon juice and cook for 15 minutes.
