Wash and hull the strawberries. Remove the green part of the strawberries and discard it.
Mix the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice in a pot. Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the jam cool down for 5 minutes.
Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal them. Place the jars in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
Remove the jars from the water bath and let them cool down completely before storing them.
