 Rub the mixture all over the chicken and place it in a roasting pan.
 Add the lemon slices to the pan and roast the chicken for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
 Serve the chicken hot with the pan juices.

                    Preheat the oven to 350°F.
 In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, cumin, coriander, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and garlic.
 Rub the mixture all over the chicken and place it in a roasting pan.
 Add the lemon slices to the pan and roast the chicken for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
 Check the chicken is cooked through by inserting a skewer into the thickest part of the thigh. If the juices run clear, the chicken is done.
 Serve the chicken hot with the pan juices.
