Melt butter in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add the cod fillets and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the potatoes, cream, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
