Add the sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour to the bowl and mix well.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and spread the softened butter over the surface.
Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the butter.
Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal sized rolls.
