Add 1 1/2 cups of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough and place it in a greased deep dish pizza pan.
Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes at 375°F.
Top the crust with 1 pound of mozzarella cheese, 3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, 2 cups of tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cornmeal over the top of the pizza.
