Pour in boiling water to the mixture and mix well
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes
While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting by beating together butter, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract
Once the cake has cooled, spread the frosting evenly over the cake
Crush the candy canes and sprinkle them over the frosting
back
