Add 1 cup of chopped onion, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of minced ginger, 2 teaspoons of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric, 1 teaspoon of ground coriander, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
